PrettyLittleThing outrages customers as it deactivates accounts for returning too many products

PrettyLittleThing has began deactivating customers accounts over 'unusual high returns activity', sending out emails to explain that the move is part of their terms and conditions.

The Manchester based online clothing brand, owned by billionaire Umar Kamani, has sparked outrage for the move, which results in customers being unable to place any orders in the future.

Many of the account holders affected paid €9.99 to gain access to the 'Royalty' scheme for a years worth of unlimited express delivery, with people demanding a refund for their banned accounts.

Outraged PLT customers took to X to share their disbelief, with one user sharing the email that she had received.

It read: 'In accordance with our terms and conditions, following a review of your account activity and the unusual high returns activity, we have reached the decision to deactivate your account. This will mean you cannot place any further orders, We're sorry if this causes you any inconvenience.'

The online retailers has already come under scrutiny this month for scrapping it's free returns policy.
