Kylian Mbappe's mother has been playing hardball with her son over his financesFayza Lamari is also his agent and is known for her tough approach to businessYoung Man United fans are singing songs about players who weren't even playing in their lifetime. Some of them have no heroes. It's damning - It's All Kicking Off
Kylian Mbappe’s mother is well known for playing hardball when it comes to business but it seems she has also been tough on her son too.
Fayza Lamari is not only the Paris Saint-Germain superstar’s mum, but she is also his agent. And it has been revealed by Le Parisien that she claimed she would ‘retire’ and ‘go on vacation to the Maldives’ if the 25-year-old committed more than 30 per cent of the profits generated by his various companies to his ‘Inspired by KM’ association.
Mbappe, who according to Forbes has pocketed a fortune of £94million during his career through endorsements and his salary, is well known for his generosity.
Back in 2018, he reportedly donated his entire 2018 World Cup wage (£380,000) to charity.
It interestingly comes amid strong rumours that Mbappe ‘will join Real Madrid’ on a free transfer from PSG this summer. It would see the end of a long transfer saga between the two clubs that has seen Mbappe reportedly fall out with the Ligue 1 champions, while Los Blancos have tried to coax the star winger to leave the club on several occasions.
Kylian Mbappe’s mother had once reportedly told him not to donate more than 30 per cent of his company earnings to his ‘Inspired by KM’ association
Fayza Lamari (L) who is both his mother and his agent, threatened to retire if he donated more than 30 per cent of his earnings to the foundation

Launched in 2020, his foundation, the idea for which the Guardian claims was conceived by his mother, aims to to help 98 children from Paris fulfil their life ambitions.
The charity has four ‘fundamental values’ to help children ‘learn, understand, share and pass on.’
It sponsors 49 boys and 49 girls between ages nine and 16 who Mbappe claims, ‘will be supported until their working lives begin.’
Set up in 2020, Inspired By KM hopes to provide 98 children from around Paris with greater opportunities to fulfil their goals
Despite that, Mbappe’s mother, who has played a key part in his long contract negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain in recent years, told the France World Cup winner that he should not give more than 30 per cent of his company profits to the association.
‘I told him: Below 30%, I don’t do it! I’m retiring and doing like everyone else: I’m going on vacation to the Maldives, but I’m not working for you!’ Lamari said according Le Parisien.
She was reportedly speaking during the French television program ‘Envoye Special’ which will be broadcast in the country on January 18.
She also reportedly joked: ‘At first, I told him it would be 50%. But we talked about it and it was 30!’
The money will support the children by providing language courses, cultural and sports trips and master classes, according to Marca.

His mother added that she would ‘go on vacation to the Maldieves’ if Mbappe committed more than 30 per cent
Back in 2018, Mbappe also reportedly donated his World Cup salary (£380,000) to charity
Back in Ocober, the outlet had also claimed that Lamari was no longer representing her son, because of FIFA’s new regulations for agents.
The governing body wanted to implement a licence system for player agents, capping the amoung of comission they could earn on transfer fees.
Lamari was no longer listed on FIFA’s Agent Directory, but Spanish outlet Relevo, Lamari will now be able to represent Mbappe after FIFA put a freeze on the licensing requirement
It comes as the Frenchman could be set to move to Real Madrid but Mail Sport understands that the move is ‘far from guaranteed’.
