In what is one of the most competitive and highly-anticipated fixtures of the Africa Cup of Nations’ (AFCON) second Matchday – seven-time winners Egypt and four-time champions Ghana clash in Abidjan tonight.

Ghana were disappointing in their opening group game – going down 2-1 in a boilover against the little-known Cape Verde.

Conversely, Egypt had to settle for a 2-2 draw in their first fixture against Mozambique.

Egypt are favourites to go one better and secure their first win of the tournament, with the northern African nation 19/20 at the time of writing.
