Brentford and England striker Ivan Toney will make his return on SaturdayThe Bees striker was banned for eight months for breaching betting rulesIvan Toney is ambitious and wants to win titles... you can't begrudge him that! It's All Kicking Off
If I am a Nottingham Forest central defender preparing to face Ivan Toney on Saturday, I won’t have slept easily.
He’s back. Like an uncaged prisoner with a thirst for a night on the tiles, he will have an unquenchable desire to take the headlines for his goals.
Brentford have missed him and they will be firing the ball into their emperor centre forward from left and right — in-swingers, out-swingers and long throws. The full artillery. Stand by for a serial bombardment, Forest.
He’s a physical target man, but cute too with how he uses his body and his movement. There is more to Toney than meets the eye. And when he takes those penalties, he has ice in his veins. Suddenly the chaos stops, he calms himself down and delivers with a tranquil authority.
After being out of the game for eight months, he cannot be expected to come back at full fitness. But the adrenaline and emotion of the day will take him a long way.
Ivan Toney is free to return to action for Brentford following an eight month betting sanction

Fired up for his Premier League return, Ivan Toney has turned his body into art with a host of meaningful tattoos

Reading Oliver Holt’s interview, I found Toney’s tattoos fascinating. It brought to mind that old TV series Prison Break, where the protagonist’s escape plan is mapped out on his body.
Toney’s life journey is now mapped out on his torso like a poster as he makes his escape from exile.
I expect a new-found maturity and hunger from him and that spells danger for defenders for the rest of this season.
Until recently, Brentford have coped without Toney, but now they need their warrior back to calm any relegation fears.
