Man ambushed, shot outside convenience store in southeast Houston, police say
Police said the shooter walked up to the man who was getting into his car and started shooting.
HOUSTON — A man was ambushed and shot as he was leaving a convenience store in southeast Houston Sunday night, according to the Houston Police Department.
Now, police are searching for the suspected gunman.
This happened around 8:30 p.m. at a gas station on Almeda Genoa and Blackhawk.
Police said the shooter walked up to the man who was getting into his car and started shooting. No word on the victim’s condition.
A description of the suspected shooter has not been released.
