Macron opens the extension of the metro line linking the Olympic Village to Orly
These hallways of Paris's Line 14 Metro won't be empty for long. The new extension of the line was inaugurated today by Emmanuel Macron with 14 extra kilometres. It will connect the centre of Paris with all the airport in a 25 minute trip, saving a lot of time for future travellers. Less people, a smoother trip and saving time. It will already be less stressful being able to get to the airport in 25 minutes. I think it's great. Holders of French transport cards Navigos won't pay extra and individual trips will cost €11.50. The line will open in time to welcome millions of tourists coming for the Olympics and will take 40 minutes to travel from the Stade de France to the Olympic Village. It's expected to be the first metro line in Paris with 200,000 daily passengers.
