Five Teams Emerge With Interest In Golden Knights' Goaltenders

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period has revealed the five teams who are interested in trading for the Vegas Golden Knights goaltenders.
The teams that have called General Manager Kelly McCrimmon are the Ottawa Senators, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes.
ESPN's Kevin Weekes was the first to report the news that teams were inquiring about Hill and Thompson but was unaware of the teams with interest.
Hill, 28, has a $4.9 million salary cap hit and an eight-team no-trade list that drops to a five-team no-trade list starting July 1. Thompson, 27, has a $766,667 cap hit.
The Golden Knights have shown faith in both goaltenders at different times which creates a lot of uncertainty about what not only McCrimmon is thinking but also what HC Bruce Cassidy is thinking.
In big-time moments in the playoffs, including this season, Cassidy has more trust to put Hill in between the pipes.
Hill is the more expensive option but if the franchise believes Hill gives them a better chance of winning another Stanley Cup, they'll likely go with Hill.
