Nacho set to leave Real Madrid for Al Qadsiah
Nacho Fernandez, after more than 20 years at Real Madrid, is set to leave the club to move to Al Qadsiah, reports MARCA.
In a move that has also been confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Nacho is set to leave the club after the expiration of his contract at the end of June. He will sign a two-year contract with Al Qadsiah, a newly promoted outfit in Saudi Arabia, where he will earn 10 million euros. Al Qadsiah, according to the report, closed the agreement in the last few hours, as Nacho had already completed his medical earlier this week.
This is a lucrative deal for a player who had always put the club’s best interests ahead of his own, and, after captaining the club of his life to their 15th Champions League title and their 36th La Liga title, Nacho is now looking forward to a new challenge at Al Qadsiah, where he will be coached by former Real Madrid player Michel.
