‘The One in Vegas:' Warner Bros. Unveils New ‘Friends' Interactive Experience on the Strip

Friends has been off the air for more than 20 years, but fans of the hit Warner Bros. series can now relive all their favorite memories, moments and episodes with a new Friends-themed interactive attraction in Las Vegas.

The MGM Grand will be the West Coast flagship location of The FRIENDS Experience, the popular immersive attraction that offers fans a chance to take photos, recreate scenes and discover behind-the-scenes secrets in life-sized recreations of the iconic Friends set. Dubbed "The One in Vegas" (following the naming convention of the show's episode titles), The FRIENDS Experience will be located within The District at MGM Grand adjacent to the Grand Garden Arena.

The new attraction includes recreations of Central Perk, Monica's New York City apartment and the legendary fountain featured in the opening credits. Set on the Sin City strip, the experience will also include Ross and Rachel's Las Vegas wedding chapel where the two memorably got married in the season five finale.

In addition to the sets, fans can also walk through rooms showcasing costumes and photos from the show, along with activations about the show's production and impact on pop culture. An on-site store, meantime, will feature merch and products exclusive to the MGM Grand location. Fans can also own the complete series on digital, Blu-ray and DVD. Friends: The Complete Series will also release in 4K Ultra HD on September 24.

The new FRIENDS Experience launches this fall, as part of the show's year-long 30th anniversary celebration. The Vegas location follows the success of locations in Boston, New York City (the original flagship) and a new London experience opening later this summer. Warner Bros. says the new Vegas experience is a chance to honor the legacy of the show, while paying tribute to the cast and characters.

"The FRIENDS Experience is a true celebration of all things Friends - honoring the storylines that have left an imprint in our lives and the characters that continue to make us laugh, cry, and will be there for you, even after 30 years," says Peter van Roden, Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment. "We've seen fans from all over the world embrace the chance to relive their favorite moments and connect with the show in a whole new way."

The FRIENDS Experience arrives almost a year after the sudden death of Matthew Perry. Like the other locations, the new West Coast flagship is an officially-licensed activation, that has been created with the knowledge of the cast and crew.
