Amazon is ending its use of plastic packaging pillows and switching to recycled paper instead, the company announced this week. It says this is its biggest plastic reduction effort. Amazon says it previously used as many as 15 billion of those plastic pillows each year. But the transition from plastic to paper packaging won't be finished until the end of the year, according to the company. Also, Starlink, which is the Internet service from SpaceX that deems a broadband connection to Earth from space, it's launching a new compact version of its antennas. CNB CS Michael Sheets reports the antennas are called Starlink Mini and designed to bring with you on the go, but they cost $599 or $100 more than the standard antenna SpaceX already sells. On top of that, the Internet service will cost you $150.00 a month. And finally, Spotify has a new streaming plan called Basic that costs a dollar less per month than the individual Premium subscription. Spotify's Basic plan gives you most of the benefits of a Premium plan, but you cannot download songs for offline listening. It's also missing the audiobook feature in Premium that lets you listen to up to 15 hours of audiobooks each month. Spotify raised its prices again this month, less than a year after its last price bump. That'll do it from the NASDAQ. Have a great weekend, stay cool, and we'll see you again on Monday.
