The Indiana Fever are currently on a three-game winning streak and will look to keep that alive when they face the Atlanta Dream on Friday. Following this game against Atlanta, Indiana will play their third matchup of the WNBA season against the Chicago Sky.
Indiana is currently 2-0 vs. Chicago this season, and the rookie matchup between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese has not disappointed. There was a controversial foul against Clark in each of those two games, with Chennedy Carter knocking Clark to the floor in their first matchup, followed Reese's flagrant foul in the second meeting.
Ahead of Sunday's battle between Indiana and Chicago, the Fever announced they will be hosting a watch party for fans:
With this game being played in Chicago, the Fever are allowing their fans to gather in Indiana to watch Clark, Reese, and their respective squads go head-to-head. This is a very cool idea by the Fever, as it strengthens the fanbase and community even while the team is on the road.
As previously mentioned, there has been some controversy in each of the first two Fever vs. Sky games this season, but that should not take away from the basketball that has been played. For Clark, she starred in Indiana's most recent win over Chicago, finishing with 23 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds.
This will also be a very important game in the standings for both teams, as just percentage points separate Indiana (6-10) and Chicago (5-9) right now in the Eastern Conference.
