Footy great Brendan Fevola reveals the telling sign that Dustin Martin played his last game in Richmond colours in 300th game milestone
Tigers champion played his 300th against Hawthorn on Saturday Richmond have the bye this week and it is unknown if Martin will play on Fevola thinks one key detail has shown Martin's intentions
Carlton legend Brendan Fevola has bad news for Richmond fans, he believes Dustin Martin's 300th match for the club was also his last.
The former Coleman Medal winner has previously declared his prediction that Martin, who has won three premierships with the Tigers, will walk away before the season is over.
Now he has doubled down on that prediction on The Fox's Fifi, Fev & Nick by saying there was a telling sign during his 300th game celebrations that Martin has played his last game for the Tigers.
Fevola pointed to the lap of honour following Dusty's 300th game as evidence of an imminent announcement.
In May, Fevola sensationally declared AFL superstar Dustin Martin would retire from the sport as soon as he chalks up his 300 career games milestone for Richmond - but will then lace his boots for the Gold Coast Suns next season.
It is understood that Martin's manager Ralph Carr has been shopping for houses on the Gold Coast for his star client.

Martin appeared to be farewelling the fans during his lap of honour at the MCG on Saturday
After Dusty's 300th game, where Richmond lost to Hawthorn in the Saturday twilight match at the MCG, Dusty gave the Richmond supporters a round of applause as he completed a lap of honour.
Fevola, a three-time All-Australian, pointed out he has never seen a player complete a lap of honour after their 300th game.
Fevola said Dusty's reaction at the end of the match indicated that he was saying goodbye to the Richmond faithful.
'Dustin Martin did something that I've never seen a 300-game player do before. He did a lap of honour up pretty much,' Fevola said.
'And Dustin Martin, who's a quiet man, very, very humble. He waved to everybody. He was clapping to the crowd. He was really lapping it up. I reckon he was saying goodbye.'
The 92,000-strong crowd fell deathly silent at the MCG as Dusty's former teammate Jack Riewoldt interviewed the Brownlow Medallist and three-time Premiership player, with many in the media speculating he may be about to retire imminently.
In the interview, Dusty said he would be ready to play next week. However, his manager, Ralph Carr, confirmed rumours of other AFL clubs circling Martin on Monday.
It has been an emotional week for Martin and Fevola thinks he has already checked out
Martin denied all media requests during the week, allowing his former teammate Jack Riewoldt the only interview
Martin is widely tipped to finish his career at the Gold Coast Suns with former Richmond coach and good friend Damien Hardwick
Richmond has the bye this week before taking on Carlton at the MCG in round 16. It remains unconfirmed if Martin will be available to play in that match.
Fevola said he believed Martin has already 'checked out'.
'The game was a script writer's dream. First goal kicked of the game was by the great Dustin Martin…. And then he went missing,' Fevola said.
'I think he's checked out. He didn't do any interviews all week. No one could get him (to interview), and his great mate and triple Premiership teammate Jack Riewoldt got on the ground, and he interviewed him after the game.'
'Now, this is what I've been copping a lot of flak for - I got told that he's going to finish up after 300 games. He might play on to the end of the year, but he'll finish up at Richmond by the end of the year.
'And he will go play for the Gold Coast for maybe one or two years – (he will) sit in the goal square, get paid a crapload of money, and join Damien Hardwick they're best mates.'
'The last question Jack asked was, 'are you going to be back in a couple of weeks?'… Because it was around everywhere last week that he was done (retiring). He said, 'Oh yeah, I'll freshen up this week and we'll be back.' I don't believe that.'
