Raiders Listed as Potential Landing Spot for Dak Prescott
The Las Vegas Raiders were one of five teams named to go all-in on Dak Prescott in a recent report by Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton.
In the article, Moton noted the Raiders’ current quarterback battle and stated:
“In all likelihood, the Raiders’ answer at quarterback isn’t on the roster right now.”
Las Vegas is set to analyze one of few quarterback battles around the NFL, with Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell each looking to solidify their spot as the starter.
The Raiders signed Minshew in free agency, as the veteran quarterback lost the starting job in Indianapolis to Anthony Richardson prior to the start of last season. Following Richardson's season-ending injury, Minshew stepped in and performed solid, leading the Colts to a modest 9-8 record.

Despite adding Minshew, the team will almost certainly look to upgrade at quarterback next season either in the draft or in free agency, where Dak Prescott could be a real target for Las Vegas.
The Raiders have a comfortable cap situation currently, with about $34 million in effective cap space, and could free up more as the front office is expected to move some players to free up more cap space.
Las Vegas is expected to be in the running for a number of big-name free agents to bolster their existing roster in 2025, and will likely have one of the better cap situations in the NFL entering free agency.
Prescott makes sense for a Raiders team that will likely pick outside the top ten in the 2025 NFL Draft due to a strong defensive unit and solid weapons offensively and could be a defining move for the team as they gear up for a Super Bowl push in the next few seasons.
The Cowboys would obviously look to extend Prescott, but his relationship with Jerry Jones and the front office could be beyond repair at this juncture of his career. If Prescott elects to leave Dallas, expect the Raiders to be a top landing spot for the veteran quarterback.
