Chicago Sky Make Big Chennedy Carter Announcement For Caitlin Clark Rematch
The Chicago Sky are headed into a hostile environment against the Indiana Fever. Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter have history with the Fever, leaving the stadium as villains just two weeks ago.
Prior to the 12:00 primetime matchup between the two, the Sky announced a major lineup change. Carter will be inserted into the starting lineup, with starting shooting guard Diamond DeShields sidelined with an undisclosed injury.
DeShileds is currently day-to-day, but Chicago has nothing to worry about, plugging in one of the best role players in the league.
Carter may get the assignment of guarding star rookie Caitlin Clark. The two shared a physical exchange in the last matchup after Carter received a flagrant foul for pushing Clark in the back and taunting the rookie.

Head coach Teresa Weatherspoon and the Sky may see this as a blessing in disguise. They're currently riding a three-game losing streak, desperate to come away with the victory.
Securing the win on Sunday could give the team momentum, and with an electric player like Carter, who knows how to score the ball and has a chance to get Clark out of her game mentally, Chicago may hold the advantage.
The Sky guard is currently averaging 12.9 points and 2.9 rebounds through Chicago's 4-8 record.
