Dwyane Wade Sent Warning to Angel Reese Before Caitlin Clark Matchup

The first WNBA matchup between rookie sensations Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark created a ton of headlines, both before, during, and after the game.

Clark's Fever team ultimately earned the win in that one. But the biggest story was how Clark got knocked down by Sky guard Chennedy Carter at one point in the game — and how Angel Reese could be seen celebrating Carter's physical outburst.

Due to this, there is a lot of hype around tomorrow's second matchup between the Sky and the Fever.

Last month, NBA legend Dwyane Wade sent a message to Angel Reese at the Met Gala.

"Talking to [Wade] at the Met [Gala]," Reese said during a May press conference, "I was like 'we need more things, we need more things."

"And he was like, 'go to the head guy'," Reese continued of Wade. "I'm just a part-owner."

This warning from Wade to Reese is especially pertinent this weekend, as the Sky have never been more popular than they are right now.

Yet, with a nationally broadcast game against Caitlin Clark on the horizon, Reese's main focus should be on that matchup rather than anything the Chicago Sky's ownership can provide right now.
