Controversial Jayson Tatum Billboard Ignites Tensions in Rival Team's Territory
Is there anything more frustrating than watching one of your biggest rivals go on to have a successful season and win a championship when your team was sent home early?
It's a fair question to ask and something that fans of the New York Knicks might know a thing or two about this year after watching the rival Boston Celtics go on to win the 2024 NBA Finals, capturing their record 18th banner.
To make matters worse, the face of Celtics star Jayson Tatum is now being plastered across the nation with his Nike ad campaign "Don't Stop Disbelieving."
One of the marquee locations? Right next to the Knicks' famed arena, Madison Square Garden.

This sort of thing would hurt much more if the Knicks had a disastrous season in 2023-24 as we've seen them have in the past decade. However, New York was able to advance to the second round of the playoffs, where they lost to the Indiana Pacers in a seven-game series.
It's safe to say that Knicks fans weren't thrilled about the whole thing.
Now they have to spend the summer looking at one of their least favorite rivals lord over their arena.
