Mica Miller's pastor husband sent her twisted email saying he wants to 'attack and cause pain' instead of forgiving her as divorce documents reveal he was accused of rampant adultery

Affidavits reveal that pastor John-Paul Miller had emailed his wife saying: 'When someone hurts me, I try to hurt them back rather than forgive'Mica's family also claims that she told them on more than one occasion: 'If I end up with a bullet in my head, it was not by me, it was JP' Documents obtained by DailyMail.com show that Mica filed for divorce in October last year 'on the grounds of adultery'

Mica Miller's pastor husband penned a poisonous email to his estranged wife before her death saying he wanted to 'attack and cause pain' – as DailyMail.com can reveal that she filed for divorce after discovering he was having multiple affairs.

John-Paul Miller, 44, had been accused by Mica of grooming her from the age of 14 when she first joined the church, in recent police reports recently made public.

In affidavits filed by Mica's family, they express their concern over her relationship with Miller who has been described as a 'wolf in sheep's clothing' and a 'false prophet' by those who know him.

'When someone hurts me, I try to hurt them back rather than forgive', Miller, the pastor of the Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina told his wife in a November 2022 email, according to an affidavit filed by Mica's brother Nathaniel Francis, 32, on May 2.

'Instead of me forgiving you.. I just attack and try to cause pain', he added.

Mica bought a gun and drove across the state border before she shot herself dead in Lumber River State Park in North Carolina on April 27. Her family claims John-Paul's actions drove her to suicide.

The twisted email is one of Miller's many actions which are in direct contrast with the preacher's teachings of forgiveness – with adultery also condemned in the Bible.

Miller is also accused of repeatedly cheating on Mica as their relationship broke down.

Divorce documents obtained by DailyMail.com reveal that Mica filed for divorce in October last year 'on the grounds of adultery'.

'Plaintiff (Mica) is informed and believes that the defendant (John-Paul) has and is currently engaging in acts of adultery with women whose names are well known to the defendant,' the filings state.

'Plaintiff has not condoned the adultery. The plaintiff would show that she left the marital home due to defendant's philandering as well as defendant's growing hostility towards plaintiff.

'Defendant has threatened to throw plaintiffs belongings into the yard, locked plaintiff out of her own home and has defamed and demeaned the plaintiff before a congregation of people.'

Mica's filing says she was a 'faithful and dutiful wife' who was 'devoted to their church and marriage' during their 7 years together.

Miller later filed against Mica asking that he be given exclusive use of the family home and a car, as well as demanding that she be banned from making social media posts about him or the church.

His first marriage broke down after it was revealed that he was having an affair with Mica – who was regularly babysitting his four children – in 2015.

DailyMail.com can also reveal that he has a lengthy history with police, including a conviction for assault and battery and at least a dozen traffic violations.

His most recent discrepancies include charges of disregarding a stop sign in April and failing to obey traffic control devices in February.

Miller was convicted in 1999 of driving his silver pickup truck into Jennifer Garland twice as she was sandbagging near her home because of extreme flooding.

The then-19-year-old 'accelerated' into Garland after she gestured to him to slow down, dragging her 100 yards down the road.

Garland attempted to file a civil suit against Miller, claiming she suffered 'severe, painful and permanent injuries', but it was dismissed. He was given a suspended four-year prison sentence, probation, a $25 fine and ordered to complete 500 hours of community service.

Miller was also convicted in 1998 of driving while suspended, with his parents also settling a lawsuit on his behalf for $6,200 in 1995, aged 17, when he drove his car into the back of another vehicle – again causing injury.

He applied for a pardon in 2022 with regards to the convictions of assault and battery and driving while suspended, which was approved by South Carolina legislators.

The pastor was also embroiled in a bitter custody battle with the mother of his first child, Logan Hardee, with family members and churchgoers writing letters to the court to support his arguments in 1998.

His father, Wayne Miller, told the court in his letter that his son's only problem was with his driving, and argued that Logan would be 'better off with his father in a beautiful home'.

'It is with a heavy heart that I see my son having to settle for joint custody when I feel that Logan needs the loving, stable, Christian family that we would give him,' Wayne Miller wrote.

He accused Logan's mother of 'dragging him from one man's home to another', adding: 'I hate to see Logan continue to be used as a weapon.

'Logan needs the last name of his father. She will never understand with her lack of education, maturity and knowledge of psychology just how important it will be as a male child for this boy to have the identity of his father.'

Miller admitted in the filings that he would 'disrupt' his son's daycare in the middle of the day and was accused of 'refusing to follow' the visitation schedule. It also detailed that he had an 'extensive history of driving offenses' and at that point had lost his license.

The couple eventually worked out a joint custody agreement, with Miller marrying his first wife Alison shortly afterwards in 2000. Alison and Miller went on to have four children together.

When approached by DailyMail.com the mother of Miller's eldest declined to comment, with a family member saying that she 'didn't want to get involved' as it was all 'over 28 years ago.'

Logan, 27, was charged with first degree domestic violence in January of this year, after hitting a woman over the head with a glass bottle and destroying her belongings, according to Horry County Police Department.

News of the pastor's previous run-ins with the law come after DailyMail.com revealed that Solid Rock Ministries are planning to allow the pastor back into the pulpit after he has completed a period of 'healing and grieving'.

Pressure is mounting on Solid Rock Ministries to answer calls as to why the disgraced pastor was allowed to continue preaching after having alleged 'sexual encounters' with underage girls he met at the church and an 'addiction to prostitutes' in 2015.

Mica's death has been ruled a suicide by officials, but those close to her are struggling to believe that she would take her own life, with her family setting up a 'Justice for Mica' campaign.

In the days after her death, Miller's friends and family held a rally outside the church where her husband previously worked.

The pastor initially shocked his congregation when he casually announced her death as a suicide at the end of a service at Solid Rock Church in the Market Common area of Myrtle Beach. He said her passing was 'self-induced'.

Then at a memorial service on May 5 – the same day he was temporarily relieved of his duties at the church – he gave a bizarre eulogy in which he claimed he tried to raise her from the dead.

He said he visited her body in the morgue four times.

He said he went to the mall later that day and saw a woman who looked just like Mica with similar clothes and tattoo on her arm and he instinctively yelled out her name.

When she turned around it turned out to be one of her sisters.

'I thought I raised her from the dead... I can't wait to see her again one day,' he said, wiping tears from his eyes.

Miller said many people saying how beautiful she was on the outside but 'only a spouse knows how beautiful a person is on the inside'.

'If I had 10 hours it wouldn't be enough to tell you all the great things about her,' he told the congregation.

'Each time it still didn't hit me, I thought she was going to wake up – I even tried to raise her from the dead one time this week,' he said.

Miller also talked about beauty pageants Mica had won and moved on to stories that would help funeralgoers understand a 'more intimate side of her'.

The couple married in 2017 and Miller recounted his elaborate proposal where he brought the congregation to the beach under the guise of a baptism.

As a plane flew by dragging a 'will you marry me Mica?' banner, he turned her towards the ocean while the church clapped and cheered.

But she said 'why is everybody cheering?' because she couldn't read it as she didn't have her contact lenses in.

Mica's family boycotted the service and held their own on the beach instead.

Footage of the eulogy was released by the church over the weekend and sparked backlash online.

'This man is so close to never being able for redemption. John Paul Miller get on your knees and repent for how you treated this woman,' one wrote.

Another added: 'This is such a low level of blasphemy. This man literally has no shame whatsoever.'

Mica's brother Nathaniel said in an affidavit that Miller had sent her an email saying: 'When someone hurts me, i try to hurt them back rather than forgive.'

Others were disgusted that Miller 'stalked' her body four times after being subject to a restraining order in the weeks before her death.

'This is the creepiest service. Those are the fakest tears I've ever seen. Seems like he is glad she is gone and rushing the funeral so he can get on with another life.'

Weeks before her death, Mica had shared a video speaking about abuse within marriage as claims emerged that she was being harassed and was 'afraid for her life'.

She said: 'Today my heart's a little heavy. I've had lots of women that have reached out to me about situations of abuse, and I just want to tell you what a lot of people have told me lately, because I think I forgot.

'But you are the bride of Christ before anybody else's, male or female, it doesn't matter what gender you are, abuse is abuse.'
