Daniels Has Everyone's Attention With OTAs Performance
Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has turned more than a few heads during the early stages of OTAs. With a quick release, beautifully-thrown ball and impressive accuracy evident in numerous clips by the team, it's easy to buy into the excitement.
But one play during Wednesday's OTA session took the internet by storm.

Daniels threw a beautiful deep ball to Jahan Dotson near the sidelined, and the receiver pulled it in with one hand to complete the impressive pitch-and-catch.
All aspects of the play were worth fawning over, but Daniels' pinpoint accuracy had Commanders fans loving every second of it and left NFL fans in awe.
There's no shortage of excitement around Daniels, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. And the hype surrounding the former LSU star is well-deserved after the season he put together with the Tigers in 2023.
After spending three seasons with the Arizona State Sun Devils, Daniels landed with LSU for two seasons, and his 2023 campaign led to a Heisman Trophy award.
Daniels threw for 3,812 yards last year while completing 72.2 percent of his passes with 40 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns and 1,134 yards on the ground. Arguably the most impressive stat from Daniels' final collegiate season is that he threw just four interceptions.
Time will tell, and the debate over which rookie quarterback in a strong class of signal-callers will likely go on for many years. But it's hard not to like the early returns and sheer upside Daniels possesses.
