Celine Dion fans left SOBBING over new trailer for her emotional documentary - almost two years after revealing her stiff person syndrome diagnosis

Celine Dion fans have been left 'in shock' after Amazon Prime released an emotional new trailer for the upcoming I Am: Celine Dion documentary, which sees the Canadian singer break down in tears.

In the moving clip, the 56-year-old becomes upset as she admits being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome has affected her ability to perform for her adoring fans - and her candid admission has left them crying too.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, many shared their thoughts on the powerful trailer as one person posted: 'This video broke me into pieces. What a wonderful and strong woman.'

Another wrote: 'I'm totally in shock, she doesn't deserve this situation,' while a third person admitted: 'Céline Dion made me cry and her documentary isn't even out yet.'

Another fan wrote: 'One minute seeing the trailer and I cant stop crying. Imagine watch all the documentary (sic).'

In one shocking part of the trailer, a 911 call is heard being made over the backdrop of Las Vegas - where Celine performed an epic residency up until June 2019.

It's unsure when or why the 911 call was made, but it was likely due to her struggles with stiff person syndrome.

Celine revealed in December 2022 that she had been diagnosed with the degenerative disease.

Stiff person syndrome (SPS), also known as stiff-man syndrome, is a rare neurological disorder that causes progressive muscle stiffness and spasms.

The spasms can be painful and come and go, and they can worsen over time. The stiffness usually affects the torso muscles, but can also affect the arms and legs.

Towards the end of the trailer, the mother-of-three promises her fans that she will do anything to save her voice , which she describes as 'the conductor of my life.'
