IKEA's New Multi-Purpose Coffee Table Is Truly the Wave of the Future
ikea-2
Purchasing items that can pull double duty are worth their weight in gold, since they allow you to spend less money when you shop. A perfect example of that practice is this IKEA table that can be used on one side as a coffee table, or flipped to the other side to be used as an end table.
That means you'll be able to use it as a centerpiece when you're entertaining or if you're eating in front of the television, and then turn it on its side so that it becomes a space saving end table when you don't need the extra room.
And that's not all it does, either. Thanks to this design, it can actually be pulled all the way up to the couch as well, creating a flat surface if you need to use your laptop or keep your coffee close when you're WFH!
This multipurpose table shared by @adrianwidjy will only set you back a cool $50, which seems like a bargain when you consider all it can do.
The one thing we can't figure out though is the hanging pouch, which we're just going to assume is a catchall for your remote or other controllers and not as one commenter seemed to believe, a place for your cat to hang out while you're working!
This isn't the only thing on IKEA's shelves that can be used for more than one purpose. A lot of their stock will allow you to get different uses out of it, depending on what your needs are.
Faux Plant Doubles as a Catchall
Another item that can do more than meets the eye is this fake plant. The potted plastic plant looks like a beautiful little addition where ever you want to add a little greenery, but it's actually a secret place to stash your keys and other visual clutter.
We love this one because it can maximize your entryway space and prevent the need to add any key holders or other bulky catchalls that could detract from the overall look of your room.
Keep Plant Products Hidden Away
Plant parents everywhere need this cool closed container system, which this woman says is perfect for keeping your indoor plant needs tucked out of sight.
The container system is pretty and secure, so it allows you to hide things like potting soil, shears, and even fertilizer spikes inside of it so that you don't have to deal with those items in your home. Not only that, but it's perfect for renters or apartment dwellers who don't exactly have a ton of outdoor storage solutions to begin with!
IKEA Does It Again
We could probably buy everything we could possibly want or need for our home from the retailer, that's how much cool and varied stuff they have.
Just don't delay, because with finds like this you never know how long they'll stay on the shelves, and whether IKEA will restock once they're sold out!
