Wild moment furious shopper throws coffee all over $1,000 worth of items at Villains Clothing

The moment a disgruntled shopper threw coffee over $1,000 worth clothing at a boutique store, has been captured on video.

CCTV from Villains Clothing at Perth's Westfield Carousel, shows a woman with a child, arguing with a retail worker at the counter, before storming off in a rage and pouring coffee over a rack of clothes.

The owner of the store Paul Clarke, told Daily Mail Australia the woman was furious after being refused a refund on a $10 crop top.

'So we have a rack out the front of our store, it's 10 bucks and all things on there are $10 for a reason,' he said.

'So their either slightly faulty, or they've got make up all over them, all that kind of stuff.

'Our staff member said I'm sorry it's not a refundable item, you can exchange it for something else but she wanted her money back.'

'She said top was for her daughter who is in the video.'

Eventually, Mr Clarke attempted to resolve the complaint over the phone.

He claims the woman went on a tirade during their conversation.

'I couldn't get a word in, she swore at me, and threw the phone back on the counter,' Mr Clarke said.

'Then she picked up the top and walked out, spilling the coffee all over the clothes.'

Mr Clarke said up to 16 items of clothing were left with coffee stains, prompting the business-owner owner to file a complaint with police.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted WA Police for comment.

The clips were flooded with thousands of commenters left in disbelief by the woman's behaviour.

'I'm so sorry, that this happened, hope the staff are ok,' one person said.

'Disgusting,' another person wrote.

'That's so embarrassing an adult acting like a child in front of her child,' a third added.

'This just reminded me why I quit working in retail. The poor workers.'
