An model who thought she just had heartburn was left stunned after finding out she was five months pregnant.
Alexandra Moore, from Adelaide, had a 'cryptic pregnancy', which is when normal testing methods fail to detect a woman is carrying a baby.
The mother-of-one recently opened up about the moment she found out the surprise news.

She revealed that she suffers from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal disorder causing enlarged ovaries with small cysts on the outer edges.
Ms Moore explained that she thought her condition would make it harder to fall pregnant, assuming that she'd likely only be able to conceive through IVF treatment.
A few months into her cryptic pregnancy, Ms Moore's mum convinced her to get a blood test because she had been feeling really dizzy and experiencing heartburn.
She recalled how a doctor told her that there was nothing to worry about as it was probably due to the fact she was pregnant - leaving her completely stunned.

'I was under the impression I was going to find it really hard to get pregnant,' she said.
'I literally had no idea I was pregnant, felt a little bit of heartburn but that was really it.
'I had to get an ultrasound to see how far along I was, and I was five months pregnant!
'I was so so lucky... I wouldn't change it for the world.'
She gave birth to a healthy baby girl in May 2020.
