Could Browns' Chubb Make Return vs. Cowboys? Analyst Weighs In
In the world of professional football, everything we see through social media accounts by players and teams is 100 percent intentional. So, it should not be surprising that videos of Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb going hard on his rehab have gone viral.
Following two surgeries to repair multiple ligaments in his knee, following a vicious low hit from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, Chubb has been working diligently to get back on the field. The videos in question show him running full speed in a straight line and working on side-to-side lateral dexterity drills, prompting one analyst to suggest that Chubb could be ready in Week 1.

Analyst Jerod Cherry recently appeared as the guest host of “The Daily Grossi” podcast this week and teased that an early return for Chubb was not out of the question.
“Let’s just say it can be Week 4 or 5, or hell, maybe the start of the season,” Cherry said. “Chubb’s videos were meant to put the league “on notice, that don’t count me out.”
Browns fans everywhere would be ecstatic to see No. 24 in the backfield when the Browns open the season at home against the Dallas Cowboys on Sep 4, with the whole world watching the Fox NFL Sunday Game of the Week.
We still have three weeks before training camp opens, and right now, that seems like forever.
