Beverly Hills ... that's where you want to be! Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) reunites with Sergeant Taggart (John Ashton) and Detective Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) in the fourth instalment of the hit franchise.

Another month, another list of red-hot movies and TV shows to enjoy on Netflix.

Leading the line-up of course is the eagerly-anticipated new Eddie Murphy film - Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. The fourth instalment in the highly popular franchise sees our fast-talking Detroit detective returning to the titular Hills after a conspiracy lands his daughter (played by Zola Star Taylour Paige) in danger. Axel teams up with her and new partner Detective Bobby Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to get to the truth with a little help from old friends Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton).

Beverly Hills Cop was Eddie Murphy's first box office hit in 1984 after he made his name appearing as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. The first flick follows Axel as he travels to California to investigate the murder of his childhood friend Mikey. The movie was such a success it later spawned two sequels in 1987 and 1994.

Also new to Netflix this month is the intriguingly-titled The Man With 1,000 kids. This gripping docuseries delves into the lives of several families who made a shocking discovery: the man they trusted as their sperm donor had fathered hundreds, possibly thousands, of children across the globe.

As these families navigate the emotional and social ramifications of their newfound connections, the series explores themes of identity, family, and the ethical complexities of reproductive technology. Through personal interviews, emotional reunions, and expert insights, series provides a profound look at the human side of modern fertility practices.

For those of you who like a bit of horror, look no further than the frankly terrifying Smile (2022). This chilling tale sees Dr Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) witness a traumatic incident involving a patient that leaves her with a curse she struggles to understand. Soon, she begins to experience frightening and inexplicable occurrences, all linked to an eerie, malevolent entity that manifests itself through the sinister smiles of those around her. As the terror escalates, Rose must confront her own past and unravel the mystery behind the horrifying phenomenon before it consumes her completely.

Smile delves into themes of trauma and fear, delivering a gripping and unsettling experience that will haunt audiences long after the credits roll. Don't say we didn't warn you!
