Kraken Use 40th Selection On Julius Miettinen In The 2024 NHL Draft

The Seattle Kraken have selected Julius Miettinen with the 40th selection in the 2024 NHL Draft.
The Finnish centreman played his draft year with Everett Silvertips and scored 31 goals and 67 points in 66 games.
Listed at 6'3, and 201 lbs, Mietttinen is the second centreman the Kraken have drafted this year but his profile is different to Catton's. Catton is a tremendous skater and skilled transition forward and Miettinen is a quiet, detailed-orientated forward who needs to improve on his skating.
