Toronto area to see cooler temperatures before heat returns

OK, well, we've got a beautiful evening out there. I mean, at least it's dry for you to take in the Pride St. festival. And just so much to do, so much to see, so much to soak in. And we have a pretty well soupy night out there because it's very humid. And as we go into the next couple of hours, it's really the core of this heat and humidity. We're waiting for the cold front to move through. So tonight as we show you where temperatures are headed, just under 23 this evening and not much cooler during the overnight. But let's show you in terms of what to expect precipitation wise, what's on the way because this model has been dialing up the precipitation throughout the day. It's been a little overdramatic. So I think any rain that you see here is light to moderate rain and really not going to cause much of an issue for your plans tonight. Now as we go into the day tomorrow, watch as the cloud cover kind of mixes in and we will have the chance for a shower or two up, especially in cottage country, but we will get into some sun and cloud throughout the day. So I'm thinking it's going to be a really nice pride parade. It's breezy though. We'll talk about that in a second. And then some showers again for the Niagara Region possible as we go into the evening. But All in all, a decent Sunday. So each day of the long weekend gets a little nicer. So Monday, watch this, we'll clear out the cloud cover, bring in the sunshine. It is fantastic. And Monday nights even better too. Perfect viewing for fireworks. Let's talk about wind gusts. So not too bad right now because we haven't really had too much of A wind out there. But by tomorrow morning, gusts could be close to 50 kilometers per hour. You'll notice that. And as we go into the morning hours, that's when the winds will start to pick up as well. And then those gusts still up to about 50 kilometers per hour in some spots. And then by the evening, it really does start to wind down. And then Monday, we still have that wind just kind of lingering around. But All in all, it's not too bad in terms of what to expect. So Monday, we'll be dealing with a northerly wind. It's still comfortable for sure. But again, you'll just have to notice it's a little breezy. Not too bad because those gusts that I'm showing you are just momentary blips in terms of how windy it's going to be, right? So tomorrow, we're calling for decreasing cloud as we go through the day and temperatures getting up to about 22°. Tomorrow night you can give the air conditioners break because we're down to about 12°. Then for Monday, lots of sunshine. Think it's the nicest day of the forecast here. And then as we go into Tuesday, we do have decent conditions that's still warm, but the humidity also starts to increase as well. And so you'll notice that overnight lows on Tuesday up to 19, so not really all that great in terms of sleeping weather. And then for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, the humidity increases temperatures into the upper 20s. We'll have humid X values in the low to mid 30s. So if you were missing the summer weather, it is on its way back as we head into the middle of next week.
