Philadelphia Eagles legend Brian Dawkins was recently included by NFL Network as one of four players on the team's "Mount Rushmore," as he established himself as one of the best players in franchise history.
Staying true to the theme of throwbacks, NFL Films recently shared an old clip of Dawkins returning to Lincoln Financial Field to face the Eagles for the first time as an opposing player when he was with the Denver Broncos.

"That's the only time in my career that I didn't come out for warm-ups," Dawkins said of his return to Philly. "Cause I couldn't. I couldn't stop crying."

Dawkins was destined to end his career with the Eagles, but instead spent his final three years in the league with the Denver Broncos. Regardless, the Hall-of-Fame safety is an Eagle for life, and rightfully so.
In 13 seasons with Philly, he made the Pro Bowl seven times and was a four-time All-Pro. Dawkins started 182 of 183 games with the Eagles while posting 914 total tackles, 21 sacks, 32 forced fumbles, 16 fumble recoveries, 34 interceptions, 132 passes defended and three defensive touchdowns.
