Volkswagen is using AI to speed up and scale marketing, while also integrating ChatGPT into its vehicles, says CMO Susanne Franz
Free time gives us time to think creatively and looking for human solutions. We've got a strategic plan and that's based on three intersections. It's called humanity, creativity and technology, and technology is the part where we're going to apply AI to scale things and to make things faster happening, for example. When we launch a new model, we are going to prepare texts for 150 markets. So it's all over the place. That takes us time in the market to deploy, to translate etcetera. So we are using AI in terms of text processes to make it quicker and faster. Same thing for voice over. That helps us a lot to gain time to translate or to deploy. Also in in key messaging in terms of voice, I think it's too early to to judge the whole value it's generating because it's all about time we gain in the future. So we don't know yet how to value that. But on the other hand side, we are using AI by collaborating, for example, with ChatGPT, it's inside our product. So we put the innovation of AI by partnering already into our product that our customers can use that. And that's how we want to enhance people's life by having it in car as a solution already.
