Captain Rohit Sharma's reaction went viral as India defeated South Africa by 7 runs to win the T20 World Cup. This was India's second T20 World Cup win. The Men in Blue also won the T20 World Cup in 2007. Captain Rohit Sharma got emotional after the win. Rohit and Virat Kohli were desperate to win a World Cup. India came close to winning the World Cup last year but suffered a defeat to Australia.
India were down and out in the final as well when South Africa needed 26 in 24 balls, with a set Heinrich Klassen on the crease. However, Rohit Sharma introduced Hardik Pandya and he got Klassen. Bumrah in the following over gave just two runs and got the wicket of Marco Jansen. India held their nerves to win the final.
