Germany v Denmark suspended due to thunderstorm, hail

DORTMUND, Germany - Germany and Denmark's Euro 2024 last 16 match in Dortmund on Saturday was halted due to adverse weather conditions, as thunder and lightning raged overhead in the first half.

Hail stones then began to fall on the pitch

Referee Michael Oliver took the players off the pitch with just over 30 minutes having been played and the score 0-0.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, the match has been suspended," screens inside the stadium read. REUTERS
