Burnham tells Glastonbury: Vote for change, not 'Reform-lite' Conservatives
Sorry I had to. Oh well, we got. Yeah, hopefully PA, hopefully PA. If you want change, you have to make it happen with your vote. And I would say, you know, it's got to be a vote for Labour, a Labour government. The country is broken. We're not facing a Conservative Party of old, of old anymore. They are part of the populist right. They expelled all their moderate MPs. You know, they are reform light. That's what they, that's what they are now. And if they get in. And, you know, working with reform, that is, that is a type of politics that Britain has never had in our, in our lifetime. And that's why I, my message is we have to first and foremost vote with certainty to stop that. And that is a Labour vote. But I've had a, a sort of a government trying to pull me back, undermine me, denigrate what we're doing to have one at my back with MPs who are trying to, you know, help what we're doing. I just think they're going into a different context than MPs have ever gone into before. And I think this 2024 to 29 Parliament could be the Parliament. Actually through this kind of mission around growth that actually leveling up could could happen.
