Calendar Song: New track from Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is a foot-tapping delight

The makers of Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Indian 2 on Monday released a new song, much to the excitement of fans. Titled "Calendar Song," the track is a lively, foot-tapping number that promises to captivate audiences.

"The Calendar Song" is a vibrant addition to Indian 2’s soundtrack. Like most Shankar songs, this one also sports high production value and features Demi-Leigh Tebow, Miss Universe 2017. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, crooned by SUVI and Aishwarya Suresh, and written by Kabilan Vairamuthu.

Indian 2 is one of the most ambitious projects of Kamal Haasan's illustrious career. Directed by hit filmmaker S Shankar, the vigilante-thriller features Haasan reprising his role as Senapathy, an aged freedom fighter who battles corruption. Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 classic Indian, which was India’s entry to the Oscars.

The movie features an impressive ensemble cast, including Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Gulshan Grover, and the late Manobala and Vivek. Kamal Haasan's turn as Senapathy in the trailer has already generated considerable anticipation.

Indian 2 is set to hit screens on July 12, marking Kamal Haasan's first release following the Prabhas-led Kalki 2898 AD, which released in theatres on June 27. As the release date approaches, the excitement surrounding Indian 2 continues to build, with the "Calendar Song" adding to the anticipation.
