Chandu Champion Box Office day 15: Kartik Aaryan starrer sees a small spike to earn Rs 80 lakh
Kartik Aaryan fully immersed himself in his latest release, Chandu Champion where he portrays Padma Shri winner and India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. Directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film had a respectable second week at the box office despite competition from Abhay Verma and Sharvari’s horror-comedy Munjya.
Chandu Champion earned Rs 55.5 crore in two weeks and is expected to cross Rs 60 crore mark by the end of the week. The film on the first day of its third weekend, showed resilience against the big release of this week, that is Kalki 2898 AD starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, as the collection of the film showed a small spike. The film on Friday earned Rs 80 lakh as per early estimates by Sacnilk, which was a rise of Rs 5 lakh from its Thursday collection of Rs 75 lakh. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 56.30.
Kartik is now gearing up for his next release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which also stars Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit. The film slated to be released during Diwali will be clashing with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff.
