Bonus Share News: Remedium Lifecare shares on Monday zoomed more than 15 per cent on the back of bonus announcement. The BSE-listed stock under Rs 100 opened in the green at Rs 61.48 against the previous close of Rs 60.13.

A firm buying was seen in the counter as it went on to hit day's high at Rs 70.43, up 17.13 per cent. At 12:30 PM, the counter held firmly in the green with a gain of nearly 15 per cent at Rs 68.98. Nearly 17 lakh shares of the company changed hands around the same time.

Remedium Lifecare shares are trading higher than 5-day moving averages but lower than 20-day, 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages.

Remedium Lifecare Bonus Share

Based out of Hyderabad, the pharma company has informed that its board has proposed a proposal for issuing bonus shares in the ratio of 3:1. It means three bonus shares will be issued to the eligible shareholders for every one share held by them on the record date.

"... Remedium Lifecare Limited ("the Company") has fixed the Record date as Saturday, 06th July, 2024 in order to determine the number of shareholders entitled for Bonus Equity shares in the ratio of 3:1 (i.e., Three Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each fully paid up for every One Equity Share of Re. 11- each fully paid up held as on the record date decided for this purpose),” the company stated in an exchange filing.

Remedium Lifecare Bonus Record Date

According to BSE website, Remedium Lifecare shares will go ex-date for the bonus issue on July 5. The company has set July 6 as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders participation in the bonus.

This is the second such bonus distribution by the company in the last one year. In July last year, the firm had issued 9 bonus shares for every 5 shares held by its investors.

Back in February this year, Remedium Lifecare had split the face value of equity shares from Rs 5 to Re 1. Prior to that, the firm had announced a similar kind of sub-division wherein it split the face value of equity shares from Rs 10 to Rs 5.

Remedium Lifecare shares have a 52-week range of Rs 179.66 - Rs 60.60 on BSE. The company commands market cap of Rs 686.95 crore as on July 1, according to BSE website.
