HOUSTON — A bicyclist who was riding to work was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving an 18-wheeler along the Beltway 8 feeder road in north Houston Friday morning, police said.
The crash in the eastbound lanes of the frontage road near the Hardy Toll Road, according to Houston TranStar. Three frontage road lanes were closed as police investigated the crash.
Details surrounding the crash are limited at this time, but police said the 18-wheeler did not stop after the crash. Police could not give a description of the vehicle other than that it was white.
The man reportedly lived and worked in the area.
