USC snags commitment from four-star CB Shamar Arnoux
Shamar Arnoux, a four-star cornerback from Carrollton, Ga., has decided to make the trip cross-country to pursue his college football dreams.
Arnoux, ranked as the No. 31 cornerback in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports Composite, announced his commitment to the USC Trojans on Wednesday.
Arnoux will be joining his Carrollton High School teammate, quarterback Julian Lewis, at USC. Lewis is a five-star quarterback, ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Notably, though, that's not the only reason he committed to USC.“This was more than just a 3 to 4-year decision this was a life-after-football decision and I feel like I have a lot to offer USC as a football player,” Arnoux told On3. "And I know what being part of the USC family can do for me when football is over."
A former Tennesee commitment, Arnoux committed to Lincoln Riley and the Trojans over Georgia, Auburn and Florida State. That's a decision that likely made Riley and his staff very happy.
"He wants me to come to USC really badly," Arnoux had previously said of Riley.
