Australians concerned energy grid ‘isn’t diversified enough’
RedBridge Group Director Simon Welsh says Australians are concerned energy supply “isn’t big enough” and “isn’t diversified enough”.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton unveiled the Coalition’s nuclear plan last week.
“Fundamentally, what they [people polled] are sort of concerned about at the moment … is this sense of it’s a supply problem,” Mr Welsh told Sky News Australia.
“Supply isn’t big enough, and it isn’t diversified enough.
“They will talk about this these sorts of ideas of we need to diversify our energy mix because that provides us an insulation from those big energy companies that keep ratcheting up the prices on us.”
