Indoor Cat Meets Stray for the First Time and It's Love at First Sight

A Siamese-tabby mix called Cielo has melted viewers' hearts on social media after his owner shared a video detailing his love story with the neighborhood stray.
The viral clip shared on TikTok in May, under the username @kingcielopurrs, shows Cielo hanging out by the window. A stray cat climbs up to him from the other side of the glass, just hanging out with him as he admires her in awe.
A caption shared with the clip reads: "Your indoor cat meets his first stray cat (girl). She kept climbing by the window. We gave her a tuna she looked so hungry."
While some cats love being on their own and having all their human's attention for themselves, others do feel the need to have a furry companion. But how do you know if your pet needs a friend?
Dog wellness experts Rover say that, when your cat wants a feline companion, they will show signs. They may become extra clingy, or spend more time than usual grooming, or they may even go through eating pattern changes.
Moreover, your cat may start having litter issues, changes in sleep patterns, or even in their energy levels. Often, a feline that needs more company will also become more talkative, as if trying to voice their need to you.
The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 2.5 million views and more than 183,000 likes on the platform.
One user, Annmarie Kehle, commented: "We had a sweet girl show up one day... she's been here ever since...I love her. Named her Sweet Pea."
Theresa Gomez11 posted: "This happened to me years ago with my female cat an orange boy kept coming over then he never left."

Another user, G_InTheFlesh wrote: "Been contemplating on letting my indoor cat (girl) outside to play however I'm terrified she'd get hurt."
