EastEnders fans in hysterics as BBC soap legend scolded for 'swearing' in mix-up
EastEnders fans were left in hysterics on Tuesday's episode as Billy Mitchell was scolded for 'swearing' in a hilarious mix-up.
On Monday's episode, Stevie Mitchell, who has been accused of stealing the charity money from Lola Pearce's charity fund, decided to clear his name as he rumbled who was really responsible. After suspecting it could be grandson, Will Mitchell, after learning he was being blackmailed, Stevie grilled the youngster at the café.
However, a panicked Will was quick to point the finger of blame elsewhere as he accused Gina Knight of being a possible suspect following the character's addiction struggles. It wasn't long until Stevie grilled Gina, pointing out her past drug addiction, leaving her family livid as her estranged brother Junior threw Stevie out the pub.
Later, Stevie attempted to grill Will once again attempting to get him to admit what he really did as he lost his temper when Will refused to admit. In a sense of desperation and panic, Will knocked Stevie over and quickly rushed off, leaving his grandad unconscious on the floor.

On Tuesday's episode, it started with Will fleeing to the playground, where he was spotted by Phil Mitchell after knocking over a bag and he then saw the house door open to which he found a lifeless Stevie. Over at the playground, Will's oblivious parents Billy and Honey Mitchell spotted their son as they told him they were proud of him after he previously stood up for his grandfather amid the stealing allegations.
During the meeting, Billy's phone went off to which he said: "King Phil!" but Honey thought he had sworn as she scolded him with: "Okay, Billy, enough, there's no need to swear, alright?!" to which Billy explained: "No I didn't, I meant King Phil, as in he's King of the Mitchell family." Phil of course had rung Billy to tell him about Stevie and that he had been rushed to hospital.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were left in hysterics over the comedy scene. One person said: "'Because your king Mitchell' haha Billy. #EastEnders" with laughing emojis, a different account put: "King Mitchell"..line brilliant..." while another put: ""Ok Billy enough, there's no need to swear" I b****y love @Sharontweet comedic writing #EastEnders."
