Man left 'looking like a sea turtle' as holiday camera purchase goes very wrong

One man's holiday camera purchase didn't go to plan

Before you go on holiday, you may treat yourself to new clothes, a new suitcase, or even a new camera so you get the perfect sunny snaps while you're away.

However, one man has revealed how his new camera didn't quite give him the holiday content he was after.

Social media user Seb Laz wrote over the top of a recent video: "I bought a new camera for my trip to Europe and this is what I got". People were left 'snorting with laughter' after the TikTok that he posted, which went viral and garnered a whopping 6.4million likes.

Against a backdrop of a glorious sandy beach, gorgeous green trees, other holidaymakers, and stunningly clear water, he showed the unusual fish-eye angle his body camera was filming from, joking: "I need a refund".

Seb stood on the water's edge, and then began swimming, but his nose began to look like a fin thanks to the quirky camera angle. The comments did not disappoint, with one social media user joking that he looked like "if a sea turtle and Mr Bean had a baby".

Other comments included: "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming swimming swimming", "I'm snorting laughing", "I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't that". A third also chimed in: "At first, it was funny.. then he went for a dive and it was.... Insanely hilarious." While a fourth added: "The way you morphed into a fish".

Many others had the same query for Seb though, wondering how he was managing to keep his eyes open under the sea. "Can you explain how you can open your eyes in salt water?", someone asked. Others said that it was "simple", but it just "stings" a bit and things are "blurry" when you look at them.

Other people asked: "Where is the damn camera?", and people explained it's a "360 camera" where you can't see it when you're being filmed.
