LeBron James' Top Critic Tells Him How To Feel About Dalton Knecht To Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers made a major roster move in the 2024 NBA draft, selecting Dalton Knecht. FOX Sports analyst Skip Bayless spoke on the pick, sending a clear message to Lakers superstar LeBron James.

"LeBron should be happy. Dalton Knecht can SHOOT IT," said Bayless on X.

Bayless has been known for his scrutiny of James, being stamped as his biggest critic throughout James' NBA career. He believes James should be happy with the Knecht pick, given his ability to shoot the ball.

Knecht helps fill a massive hole in the shooting realm for the Lakers. He's fresh off an SEC Player of the Year season with the Tennessee Volunteers, averaging 21.7 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Bayless sent a blunt message to James, which may cause some fans to clap back at the analyst, but he's certainly correct with his take.

Knecht shot 39.7% from three-point range and 45.8% from the field. He played one season with the Vols after transferring to Knoxville in 2023. He played at the Junior College and Division 2 level prior to transferring to Tennessee.
