Bernhardt Furniture unveils award-winning Power Motion Collection

Metro Manila’s elite recently gathered at the Home Mavericks showroom for an event that promises to revolutionize living spaces.

This exclusive launch party introduced Bernhardt’s award-winning Power Motion Collection, blending cutting-edge technology with luxurious design. The evening was a grand affair, attended by an illustrious mix of interior designers, architects, furniture enthusiasts, celebrities, influencers, and esteemed members of the press.

Elegance and innovation

The Power Motion Collection from Bernhardt embodies the marriage of elegance and innovation. These designer chairs and sofas appear as sophisticated as any high end furniture piece but with a remarkable twist: they double as luxury recliners. Featuring advanced multi-component technology, these pieces allow both headrest and footrest to fully recline at the touch of discreet buttons. Some models even include USB ports, offering convenience alongside aesthetic appeal.

“It’s better than buying a first-class seat because you take the luxury and comfort home,” said Eric Mendoza, president of Home Mavericks as he summarized the collection’s appeal.

“What makes Bernhardt special? It’s rooted in great design and great design transcends what meets the eye,” added company AVP Elisha Mendoza.

Host Janeena Chan meanwhile added her admiration, noting that it was a pleasant surprise—to have “a sofa that you didn’t even know reclines.” It’s like no other sofa or recliner in the market in terms of design and technology.

Pinnacle Award

The evening’s highlight was the announcement that the Bernhardt Aldo Power Motion Sectional Sofa won the Pinnacle Award for Motion Upholstery from the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD).

Often referred to as the “Oscars of Furniture,” this accolade celebrates the Aldo Power Motion Sofa’s exceptional design, functionality, and contribution to motion upholstery. With sleek lines, luxurious upholstery, and advanced motion mechanisms, the sectional sofa represents a perfect fusion of technology and timeless design.

Bernhardt’s illustrious history with the Pinnacle Awards now includes over 30 wins and 53 nominations across various categories, solidifying its reputation for excellence.

The launch event showcased a diverse range of Power Motion models, catering to different sizes, materials, unique features, and interior design styles. The showroom buzzed with excitement as guests explored these innovative pieces.
