Florence Pugh is nodding to one of her most memorable movie roles.

While appearing at a Q&A at England's Glastonbury Festival, the 28-year-old actress wore a floral headpiece that bears undeniable similarity to her role in the infamous A24 horror flick Midsommar.

At the Friday, June 28, panel, Pugh took the stage in a black halter dress with sheer panels and high side slits. She added a pair of gray work boots and chunky jewelry, her most eye-catching accessory being a flower crown made of large blue, purple, pink and white flowers.

The headpiece held back the front pieces of the Oscar nominee's short blonde hair. Pugh also sported a fun makeup look with graphic winged eyeliner and colorful gems on the inner and outer corners of her eyes.

The accessory calls to mind Pugh's performance in the 2019 film Midsommar, in which she plays a young woman who travels to Sweden's midsummer festival with her boyfriend after her family's tragic deaths.

Pugh's character, Dani, is given a flower crown to wear while participating in the commune's nine-day festival. The film culminates in Dani being crowned the "May Queen" and donning a massive dress and headpiece made entirely of brightly colored flowers.

Written and directed by Ari Aster, Midsommer shocked audiences with its disturbing and gruesome content. Pugh later said that she suffered mentally in order to achieve her performance, which was met with critical acclaim.

"I'd never played someone that was in that much pain before, and I'd put myself in really s--- situations that maybe other actors don't need to do," Pugh said during a March 2023 appearance on the podcast Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster. "Each day, the content would be getting more weird and harder to do, I was putting things in my head that were just getting worse and more bleak."

"I think by the end, I had probably, most definitely abused my own self in order to get that performance," she continued, noting that she'd "never had this ever before with any" other character she's played.

The actress also said that it was a hard turn starting her next project, Greta Gerwig's Little Women, days after wrapping Midsommar.

"I remember looking down and feeling immense guilt, like I felt so guilty, because I felt like I'd left her in that field, in that state, and it was so weird, I'd never had that before," Pugh shared.

"It's funny, I'd obviously created such a sad person and then felt guilty that I'd created that person and then left her," she added.
