Realme GT 6T vs OnePlus 12R Battery Drain Test | Which One Should You Settle For? šŸ¤”

Hello everyone, I'm here for fiber by India Today and this is the battery drainage comparison between the real ME GT60 and the 1 + 12 hour. Now, I believe this one is going to be close and the major deciding factor at the end could be the price. So here's a look at the prices and variants on offer of both the Realme GT60 and the 1 + 12 hour. And these prices are with the ongoing discounts and offers. And clearly there's zero doubt that the GT60 is the better deal here. And you just look at the difference in pricing and apart from the price too. I think the realme GT60 is a better overall pick between these two smartphones, but of course you'll be getting a lot of answers by the end of this battery drain test video S 1st here's a look at the key highlights of both phones side by side and apart from the metal frame, an extra 2 megapixel macro camera at the rear and 16 gigabyte ram option in the 1 + 12 hour. Both phones are similarly specced. In fact, for what it's worth and for less money, the Realme GT60 has a better peak brightness and a slightly better IP rating. The Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen. 3 inside the GT, which one can argue might not match the 8 Gen. 2's benchmark numbers, can still go to O22 with the Agent two in the real world. And the Realme GT60 also has a faster 120 Watt wired charging. So which one should it be? Performance and endurance are two of the key selling points for you while getting a new smartphone. Should it be the Realme GT60 or should you go for the 1 + 12 hour? Now before we go any further, consider hitting that red subscribe button for detailed tech videos and also turn on the belt so that you don't miss any of our latest updates. With that said, let's get started. As always, we kick off by booting up both devices and they boot neck to neck. So both phones on the table have light mode enabled and are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The brightness and audio are set at 50%, vivid color profile is set, all the image and video enhancement settings are enabled, 120 Hertz mode is enabled, and of course both the phones batteries are 100% and discharged. Okay, you know what, I think both these panels are the same considering OnePlus and Real me have the same parent company. Of course there are some minor differences in tuning though, but overall both of these displays are top notch and I say that in all regards. Speed In terms of colors, contrast or brightness, these curved AMOLED displays are two of the best you can get on phones for under ā‚¹40,000. Now Realme does boast a peak brightness of 6000 nits versus 1 + 12 hours 4500 nits and honestly, I don't really have the content to test these crazy numbers. However, what I can assure you is that even under harsh sunlight there won't be any legibility issues with both phones because brightness wise both are sorted. But apart from this, if I had to pick one display over the other, I would go with Real ME. I think in terms of tuning ever so slightly, the color output is natural and looks better to me on the real ME GT 60s display. Nonetheless, the 12 hours display is also very nice and overall you can't go wrong with either. OK, we are done with the YouTube video playback and both phones showed a solid efficiency in the first round. So the Realme GT60 has taken the lead with 97% battery left, while the 1 + 12 hour is right behind with 96% battery left. With that, it is now time to run an hour of 1080P video recording. And while both phones are at it, here's a look at the camera specifications of both devices. The Realme GT60 features a dual rear camera setup comprising A50 megapixel Sony LYT 600 primary camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera and a 32 megapixel snapper at the front for selfies. In terms of video recording, the rear camera is capped AT4K60FPS while the front supports up to four K30FPS recording. The 1 + 12 hour, on the other hand, features a triple rear camera setup comprising of 50 megapixel Sony IMAX 890 primary camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera, A2 megapixel macro camera and a 16 megapixel snapper at the front for selfies. In terms of video recording, the rear camera is capped AT4K60FPS while the front supports up to 1080P30FPS recording. Here are some of the comparison photos of the real ME GT60 and the 1 + 12 bar side by side. Let me know in the comments which phone do you think took the better shots? Of course, for a detailed overview of the camera, the individual reviews of both phones are live on fiber and I will also leave the video links in the description below. With that, we are done with the 1080P video recording round as well and now the 1 + 12 bar has taken the lead with 81% battery left, while the real ME GT60 is right behind with 80% battery left. All right, it is now time to run some benchmarks to get an idea if both phones are put under heavy loads in the real world, which one is going to give the better endurance? First up, the specs. The Realme GT60 is powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen. 3 SoC coupled with up to 12 GB LPDR, 5X RAM and up to 512 GB of faster UFS 4.0 storage. The 1 + 12 R, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon Agent 2 SoC coupled with up to 16GB LPDR, 5X RAM and up to 256 GB of older UFS 3.1 storage. So starting with Geekman 6 and in both a single core and multicore performance, both phones record a solid showing with the 1 + 12 R taking the lead in Antho 2 as well. The scores are very close, suggesting that the seven Plus Gen. 3 has all the power to go two to two with the 8 Gen. 2 chip. However, as seen before two in the 3D mark extreme stress test, the real ME GT 60 does not perform all that well. Not that it struggles in the real world with gaming, but still, if these scores are anything to go by, the 1 + 12 R did post better numbers. Finally, in the CPU throttle test, after all the torture in the previous three benchmarks, the real ME GT60 held its ground with a good 80, 99% stability while the 12 hour records and above average 70% stability. So here are the benchmark scores of both phones on your screens right now. You can pause and take a look. So we are done with four hours of testing and again A twist of turns here. So the one plus at 12 hour is now trailing behind with 53% battery left, while the Realme GT60 has again taken the lead with 54% battery left. So now let's talk about gaming and when it comes to the gaming bit, there's no doubt that both phones offer top notch performance. In fact, games such as Call of Duty mobile or a BGMR or even asphalt 9 legends can all run at peak 60 FTS performance. However, after a point when the phones start getting warm, and trust me, both of them do it is the one test 12 bar and really throttles in the performance and you start seeing those occasional starters and frame drops. Moreover, because of the metal frame on the 1 + 12 bar, I also felt it gets really comfortable to hold when the phone gets warm, something that I can't say about the GT60. You see, the good thing about the real ME GT 60 is that first, thermal management is good. I mean, even if the phone gets warm, it gets cooled down a pretty fast. And even when it is warm, the plastic frame never really made holding the phone uncomfortable. Secondly, even under heavy loads, the performance never really throttles on the GT60. So Long story short, while both phones can handle any game out there, it is the Realme GT60 which is the better one when it comes to prolonged gaming sessions. All right, we are done with five hours of testing and right now both phones are tied with both of them left with 43% battery left. This is insane. So let's move on to the last round. Now with that, we are in the last leg of our battery doing test comparison. I will now run an hour of Instagram on both smartphones here, but without keeping you waiting until the last minute. I am going to Fast forward to the six hours mark. And with that, the real ME GT60 finishes with 37% battery left, while the 1 + 12 hour finishes right behind with 36% battery left. Here's an hour by hour breakdown of the battery drain of both phones on your screens right now. Of course, going by the stats, there's no doubt the results could have gone either way. And there's also no doubt that both these phones, with their high capacity battery and solid efficiency, boast some of the best endurance you can get on upper mid range phones. However, which among the two makes the utmost sense? That's the main question. And I think while endurance and performance wise both phones are comparable, when it comes to the price, the real ME GT60 is the better proposition. Granted, the 12 R has a 16 gigabyte RAM, but a 12 gigabyte RAM is also more than enough on the Realme. Then there's the metal frame and the glass back on the 12 R, which is premium. But in the grander scheme of things, when the phones get hot, it is the Realme with its polycarbonate frame which is more comfortable to hold. Then there's a 2 megapixel macro camera on the 1 + 12 R, which the Realme does not have. But does it really even matter? I don't think so. Most importantly, with discounts, the base variant of the Realme GT 60S is ā‚¹11,000 cheaper than the 12 Hour Plus. The top end variant of the GT60 is still ā‚¹8000 cheaper than the 12 Hours top variant, all while offering double the storage at 512 GB, which is also the faster UFS 4.0 standard. So clearly the upper mid range smartphone price segment is right now being dominated by the Realme GT60, the 1 + 12 R or for that matter even the Poco F6. But out of these three phones, when it comes to the price to performance ratio, I think the realme GT60 makes the most sense. Rest. What are your thoughts on this battery and test comparison between the Realme GT60 and the 1 + 12 R? Let me know in the comments as always, for all the latest in tech, stay tuned to fiber. I'll catch you all in the next one. Thank you for watching.
