SEOUL, June 27 (Yonhap) -- Actors Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung are cast as the leads in Netflix' new original series "Lost in Translation" written by the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran), the OTT giant announced on the 27th.
"Lost in Translation" is a romantic comedy that revolves around multi-language interpreter Ju Ho-jin, played by Kim Seon-ho, who takes on the task of interpreting for global top star Cha Moo-hee, portrayed by the charismatic Go Youn-jung.
Japanese actor Sota Fukushi will make his first appearance in a Korean production through this drama. Lee Yi-dam, known for his role as a nurse in "Daily Dose of Sunshine," and Choi Woo-sung, who played a detective in "Chief Detective 1958," are also confirmed to appear.
The script is penned by Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, the writers behind "Alchemy of Souls" (2022), "Hotel Del Luna" (2019).
