NBA Draft: Zaccharie Risacher drafted No. 1 by the Atlanta Hawks and here's what they're getting
Zachary Rizzo Shay is an appealing international prospect who gained a ton of momentum as a candidate at number one overall after playing particularly well during the playoffs in France. For teams looking for a unique blend of size and shooting, Rizzo can provide exactly that. He measured just shy of 6 foot 9 inch socks at the NBA's International Draft Combine in Italy. While he played most of his pro season at 18 years old, Rizzo Shea also finished the season shooting very well, connected on 38.7% of his three pointers. Ristochet is a slashing wing at this point in this career, and while his speed and verticality didn't blow anyone out of the water during his athletic testing, he is someone who can eventually make a positive impact in the pros. He needs more consistent play before he can become the face of a franchise, but his ceiling is undeniably high. As he keeps getting better, his game may remind some fans of familiar players such as Milwaukee's Chris Middleton and Denver's Michael Porter Junior.
