The addition of L'Jarius Sneed was no doubt one of the biggest of the Tennessee Titans' offseason, as he'll provide a massive upgrade over anybody the team had in the cornerbacks room in 2023.
Sneed is one of the very best at his position in the NFL, and that's something young Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. subscribes to.
Porter was a guest on "The Schultz Report Show" with NFL insider Jordan Schultz and listed his top-five cornerbacks.
Sneed was No. 1, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs' Trent McDuffie, the Chicago Bears' Jaylon Johnson, the Denver Broncos' Patrick Surtain, and himself.
Not only is Sneed a top-flight cornerback, he's also a fantastic fit in defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson's system, which looks to be more aggressive and press receivers at the line of scrimmage, an approach Titans fans have been yearning for.
Along with Sneed, the Titans also have free-agent addition Chidobe Awuzie and slot cornerback Roger McCreary. That trio should give Tennessee one of the best cornerbacks rooms in the NFL in 2024.
