Kandi Burruss “Sad” Over Kenya Moore’s ‘RHOA’ Exit: “I Feel Like This Is The End Of An Era”

Kandi Burruss shared her thoughts on Kenya Moore exiting The Real Housewives of Atlanta following her suspension.
Burruss, who departed RHOA earlier this year after 14 consecutive seasons, said she was “sad” about Moore’s departure from the Bravo reality series.
“There was an incident that happened. I wasn’t there. I can’t give you details of what happened. But it makes me sad, you know, I’m not lying about how I feel because she is my friend. I do love her,” Burruss said on Amazon Live.

Burruss acknowledges that Moore “goes far sometimes” regarding what she does on the show to keep the other ladies accountable, adding, “I have never known her to make up anything about anybody. And if things are out there about you, when you join a reality show, unfortunately, people are able to pull up things that you’ve done, and share them.”
Although Burruss notes exposing their co-stars is not “always a nice thing to do,” it’s stuff that happens. The Chi actress also questioned if there was something else that Bravo could’ve done to keep Moore on the show, saying that her friend “is a major part of the show.”
“I feel like this is the end of an era,” Burruss continued. “I don’t care who disagrees. I feel like it’s the end of an era. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t like her or whatever. You always gonna need somebody who doesn’t mind being real and keeping it 100 on camera, pushing the story, meaning like bringing up things that other people are trying to avoid.”
Moore left RHOA after she was suspended from the Bravo reality series after she allegedly showed explicit images of her co-star Brittany Eady during an event being filmed for the show. The reality star has maintained that she did not engage in “revenge porn” and teased she had proof that would shut down the claims against her.
“I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail,” Moore shared on X, formerly Twitter. “I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news.”
