Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is making significant strides this offseason. Following an impressive rookie year, Nacua has revamped his nutrition and training regimen, inspired by his workouts with Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp.
"My nutrition definitely did change after starting workouts [with Kupp] because I was like, 'Hey, I can't keep showing up at 6 a.m. and throwing up," Nacua said. "So I was like maybe I'll wait to eat after."
Nacua has already shed 10 pounds since last season, bringing his weight down to 210 pounds. His rookie campaign saw him record 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns, breaking long-standing records in the process.
"I feel like I got slimmer in my body fat and just feeling more firm in the weight I'm at," Nacua added. "I lost a couple pounds here and there, but it feels good to see some muscles. I don't think I was fat last year, but a little more muscle definition is always nice."
Nacua's dedication to his fitness and nutrition is setting the stage for what could be another standout season. His efforts to emulate the discipline and work ethic of a seasoned pro like Kupp are paying off, positioning him as a key player for the Rams moving forward.
