Travis Kelce learned from the best — he just casually dropped an Easter egg about his romance with Taylor Swift on the latest episode of New Heights.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, didn't even get three minutes into the Wednesday, June 26, episode of his New Heights podcast without slipping in a sweetly innocuous reference about his relationship with Swift.
Broadcasting from "Philadelphia bar" Passyunk in London over the weekend, the NFL stars toasted to the pub's Passyunk Ale — brought out by the bar manager Jessi, who was clad in a uniform emblazoned with the number 13.
"Jessi, are you wearing 13 as your lucky number?" Travis asked. When she replied that she was, Travis was quick to point out that he also "know[s] someone" with the same one. As any Swiftie worth their salt knows, the Grammy winner's lucky number is also 13. In fact, so is Jason's.
"I was a 13 guy," the retired Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, pointed out. "That was my hockey number. That was my favorite number."
"13 + 87, I'm just sayin', it works," Travis slyly remarked while clinking glasses with his brother.
Fans instantly caught the reference and began blowing up the episode's YouTube comments section with reactions to the blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment.
"I love that Travis just slid 13+87 into the conversation," one person wrote.
"'13 + 87 IT WORKS' I DIED DEAD," another gushed in all-caps.
"That man really said i know someone whos lucky number is 13," a third fan responded.
"i love how travis says casually 'I think i might know someone with the same lucky number as you' in the beginning is hilarious as if nobody knows," a fourth user commented.
"'13 + 87, it works!' Love Travis slipping that in!" penned another Swiftie.
Of course, the Kelce brothers — who were in London for Swift's sold-out Eras Tour shows at Wembley Stadium — discussed meeting Prince William and his two eldest children at one of the concerts, while Travis recalled how Swift, the future king and Jon Bon Jovi all once performed together.
As for any tidbits about Travis' viral appearance on stage at Swift's Sunday concert — during which he donned a tux and top hat while participating in a pre-song skit — it looks like 92 percenters and Swifties will just have to wait until next week's episode to hear Travis' (and Jason's!) perspective.
Swift, for her part, already gushed about her boyfriend's onstage moment, sharing a series of photos from her London concerts via instagram and writing, "I'm still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav's Eras Tour debut 🥰."
